|1) The present invention relates to design of open cell lattice structure using powder bed based Additive Manufacturing process for the purpose of easy powder removal of uncured or unsintered powder from additively fabricated parts or products.
2) The present invention can reduce the time for post-printing powder removal process from the printed lattice structures made by powder bed based AM processes. This is one of the critical post-printing processes employed by many industries to produce a final, customer-ready product.
3) The present invention proposes to introduce number of inner ventilations in a shell type cellular lattice structure that creates a continuous cross-flow channel inside the structure to facilitate a rapid powder removal.
4) The present invention can be employed for powder based materials like ceramics, metals and polymer.
