1) The present invention relates to design of close cell lattice Structure using an additive manufacturing technology particularly material extrusion process like FDM. The close lattice structure can be designed and manufactured in two ways a) Local Close lattice structure b) Global close lattice structure.

2) The present invention is light weight and resilient, yet stiffer than open cell structure.

3) The present invention can also be filled with air and liquid.
