研究概述
黃老師的主要研究領域為熱固性高分子、高分子聚摻物、及高分子複合物,在反應性高分子加工製程中,其聚合固化行為之探討,及結構、物性兩者間相互關係建立之研究。相關的加工製程包括壓縮成型、射出成型、反應射出成型、樹脂轉注成型及拉擠法等。所研究的材料則包括低收縮之不飽和聚酯樹脂、環氧樹脂、聚氨基甲酸酯及互穿網型之高分子等。上述高分子均具有極佳之機械性質,同時大多數的製程都能夠處理具纖維補強及含有長纖維之加工配料。由於在航太、汽車、及建築業的結構應用上,高分子複合材料其質輕的優點,使得上述製程已廣為相關業界採用,其未來亦有雄厚之發展潛力。
目前本實驗室在反應性高分子加工製程的研究可分為三個方面:(一)原料設計; (二)聚合固化行為包括聚合固化過程中之反應動力、相分離、流變變化及形態結構變化; 及(三)樹脂之可工性與加工成品之物性、機械性質。
近年來,高分子奈米複合材料、自組裝高分子材料、及小角度X光散射儀在高分子物理及生物高分子領域的應用,亦為本研究室有興趣的研究方向。
